Comfort life in Putney

Sitting prosperously and happily between the River Thames and the large open spaces of the Putney Heath, Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common, Putney is a wonderful part of the south-west London property. During Napoleonic wars period there was a telegraph station on top of the hill, which transmitted messages from the Portsmouth to Admiralty in London. At the cricket ground and at the telegraph pub, you could almost be in the heart of the country.
